Just a few short weeks ago I received my Cybher newsletter along with all other delegates which said that Thinking Slimmer were proud to announce their sponsorship of Cybher and to mark the occasion they were looking for 10 bloggers to review the Thinking Slimmer weight-loss programmes.
Readers of Mummy Matters will know that last year I very successfully lost 1.5 stone on the Jenny Craig diet but slowly as the months have passed by I have slipped back into my old ways and the weight has crept back up to where it was. To say that I am disappointed in myself is an understatement but at the same time I am not surprised. I am quite lazy when it comes to food and eating, I eat because I need to not because I want to and therefore I don’t really think about what I’m eating throughout the day. Evening meals are different because I need to consider the whole family so I always cook a healthy wholesome meal in the evening. Throughout the day I graze on whatever I can find in the cupboards.
I had recently been speaking to my friend Amanda who had tried out Thinking Slimmer to curb her chocoholic tendencies and she couldn’t believe how well it had worked so I was intrigued. Then when I saw the Cybher announcement I decided it wouldn’t hurt to apply and see what happens.
A week later I received an email with the very welcome news that I had been selected to trial not only a Thinking Slimmer Slimpod and Fitpod, but also that I would be reviewing some of the new Jenni Falconer XPG Fitness range of clothing from Debenhams.
At Cybher I had the opportunity to meet with Sandra Roycroft-Davies to talk about Thinking Slimmer and what to expect from it. Thinking Slimmer was inspired by Sandra’s work as a cognitive therapist with a practice in Harley Street, she soon realised that the Internet would be a fantastic way to introduce the Slimpod weight loss programmes to a world-wide audience at an affordable price. Slimpods (and Fitpods) are a series of unique voice recordings which help people to achieve effective weight loss whether their goal is 5lb or 5 stones. With Thinking Slimmer there are no fancy diets, no pill-taking, calorie-counting or will power required, just 10 minutes a day to listen to the Slimpods. Slimpods work on mind the through unconscious persuasion making weight loss easy and effortless.
I ordered my Slimpod and Fitpod last night so I am looking forward to getting started and sharing my experience with you – here’s to a newer, slimmer, fitter me! Just what I always wanted!!
