I have always enjoyed doing arts and crafts myself. I love to draw, paint, make jewellery, sew, do needlecraft, and knit. From the first opportunity that I could, I introduced Curly, Little Bean and Beanie Boy to crafting, too. They all love to do it, but it would appear that Little Bean has developed Mummy’s passion for it more than the boys.
We were sent a Sports Themed Crafting pack from Yellow Moon in honour of our sporting summer, unfortunately ours got lost in the post and did a tour of a few different sorting offices before it finally found its rightful place in our home just as our summer had ended. This weekend, whilst I was at work, Hubby asked what he could do with Little Bean whilst Beanie Boy was sleeping, so I handed them the Yellow Moon package and left them to it.
I first discovered Yellow Moon when I was given one of their catalogues by Little Bean’s pre-school as it was a way for the pre-school to raise money whilst providing parents with the opportunity to buy high quality crafts materials at a really affordable price. One thing that I have found with Little Bean and her behaviour is that provided she is kept busy doing organised activities, her behaviour is much more favourable so I try to find her craft projects to do as much as possible.
When I returned home from work on Saturday, Little Bean presented me with a medal she had made especially for me because she told me that I had been a good girl all day and was the best Mum in the world!! Now that’s not a bad thing to come home to, is it?
