Keeping up with laundry as a busy mum of 4 kids

Holy moly, laundry just seems to come out of nowhere. And this is especially true when you have a large family like mine, with 4 kids who love to be outdoors! I swear that some days, we go through 10-15 shirts and bottoms, all before dinnertime! If there is a speck of mud or dirt to be found, it’s going to end up on the kid’s clothes.

What this means for me (and all mums out there that spend their entire day doing laundry) is that the thought of doing one more load of laundry during the week is enough to drive you batty. The good news? There is an easy fix to your dilemma. If you’re needing a bit of sanity back into your life, your answer is LaundryHeap, the best way to get the help you’re looking for in keeping up with the never-ending mound of laundry.

Truth be told, I love being a busy mum. I’m constantly needed and surrounded by love…but along with all that love is a pile of dirty clothes and socks that don’t take care of themself. But now, in a way, they actually do. Since I’ve started using LaundryHeap, the clothes leave the house dirty and come back clean. Magic? I think so.

If you’re looking for help in the laundry department, here are some super simple reasons why you need to take action and hire out some help cleaning all those dirty drawers.

Time is money

If you’re spending your entire day doing laundry, folding laundry, sorting laundry, picking up laundry, ironing laundry, and so on, your day is literally consumed by clothes. How fun is that?! Give yourself a break and reward yourself with a few extra hours per week. Just think about what you can do with all that extra time?! Read a book, go on a walk, write a novel…the options are endless.

Turnaround time is fast

I’ll be the first to admit that sometimes, my piles of laundry sit there for a while before they get washed. I mean, it’s only natural to have a few hiccups along the way, right? But if you’re ready for a laundry service to help you, be ready to get your clothes back clean and faster than you ever thought possible.

Once your dirty clothes are picked up, you can have them returned to you on your schedule. This is a super awesome benefit because you know that everyone pretty much likes to wear the same shirts over and over again, right? So the faster they can get cleaned and put back in the closet, the happier everyone is going to be!

Dry cleaning is an option, too

If you have garments that you love that you literally can’t wash at home, using the dry cleaning service from LaundryHeap is a great option as well. And the best part? They come right to your day and pick it all up for you. Can I just tell you how much of a breath of fresh it is that I don’t have to leave home to take the laundry elsewhere?

I just have the kids bag up their own dirty clothes and I put them in a bag for pickup. And with everything COVID happening right now, they even offer contactless pickup and delivery, too. They’ve literally thought of everything and they truly have saved my sanity!

If you’re ready to stop spending your days in the laundry room and actually get outside a bit and see the glorious sunshine, you need to check out how you can easily make laundry something that you no longer dread!

What a great idea!!! I don’t mind washing and drying but I HATE putting away, I will often just leave it and hope no one notices! With 5 of us though it never takes long before they realise they are missing something!

There’s a LOT of laundry with a big family isn’t there? Ours seems neverending but this is a perfect solution when you need it.

What a brilliant service! I can think of so many reasons why this would be helpful. If only there was a service which didn’t include tumble drying though… then I’d be 100% there.

Yes, that is a good point actually, I hadn’t considered that.

I have the washing machine on every day and end up having to do it before I leave the house for work otherwise it doesnt all get on. So this would be very useful!

I always have the best intentions but I get distracted so easily and it builds up so fast.
