Win an Epson EcoTank 3-in-1 printer RRP £229

My passion for photography ignited at a young age when my Mum gifted me my very first camera. Over the years, I’ve accumulated an extensive collection of photographs, and attempting to quantify the exact number would be a formidable task. To provide some perspective, during an average family holiday, I easily capture upwards of 1500 images in just one week—painting a vivid picture of my photography enthusiasm!

Typically, I prefer to print the majority of my pictures at home, adorning our living spaces with cherished memories. For the remainder, I use online services to craft photo books, either as keepsakes or thoughtful gifts.

Unfortunately, my previous printer, an Epson SX400, breathed its last just before the Christmas season. While I had been content with its print quality, I grew increasingly dissatisfied with the frequent need to replace expensive cartridges. Additionally, infrequent printing led to the printheads drying out, necessitating repetitive and ink-wasting head cleaning and nozzle checks each time I powered it up—a frustration I was keen to leave behind.

Hello Epson ET2550

Epson ET2550

I’ve had the privilege of receiving an Epson EcoTank ET2550 for review, and thus far, it has left a very good impression. The Epson ET2550 boasts wireless capabilities and incorporates a built-in scanner. This feature has proven invaluable in our household, as it allows me to effortlessly print from my laptop, tablet, or mobile phone from any corner of our home.

Distinguished by its unique ink system, the Epson EcoTank diverges from traditional cartridges by featuring a dedicated ‘tank’ on the printer’s side. This reservoir accommodates four separate ink containers, which are designed to provide a prolonged ink supply, potentially lasting up to two years, contingent upon one’s printing frequency. Epson claims an impressive yield of 4,000 pages with black ink and 6,500 pages with coloured ink. I find this concept highly appealing, as it eliminates the need for frequent cartridge replacements, and instead, you simply acquire replacement ink bottles to replenish the tanks.

I’m excited to share that you too can have a chance to own your very own Epson EcoTank by participating in my exciting giveaway. Epson is generously offering one fortunate reader of Mummy Matters the opportunity to win an Epson ET2550. To enter, simply complete the Gleam Competition App below. You can opt for the straightforward bonus entry or explore numerous other tasks for increased chances of winning.

Good luck!!

  1. Some lovely pictures from Christmas. I like to go through all the pictures we’ve taken over the month and print of a few to pop on the fridge or pin board!

  2. I would go mad printing photo’s of the children since the day they were born- our house hasn’t been a state to put pictures up until now, so I have six years to catch up with!

  3. I would print off many photos that are stored on my laptop, I would love to make a album up for my little girl to look at when she is older

  4. Fabulous prize, I have a crappy printer (sorry, no other way to describe it!) so I would print some good photos of my new grandbaby due in a few weeks time.

  5. Photos for some greetings cards I would love to make, but I’m unable to do so at the moment as my printer doesn’t print in photo quality.

  6. It’s very dull but I’d print out some work checklists so I could pin them above my desk instead of having to constantly hop between files.

  7. I’d print a letter to my penpal. I find hand writing makes my wrist ache so I type my letters to her nowadays. We’ve been writing every week for the past 20+ years.

  14. The first thing I’d print is photos of the children from Christmas to send to their grandparents in the Netherlands, we do send them by email but they don’t have a printer and aren’t technologically minded so it would be lovely to send some recent photos for them to display in their home.

  15. Just started back on a college course (evening, as I have two toddlers) in photography and this would be amazing! although fingers crossed Santa brings me one next Christmas! All the hints in the world had no effect this past Christmas. Would love to print the kids their own little albums x

  18. The best pic of my long-term boi-crush Ed Sheeran that i could find…..i would stick it on the fridge door to encourage me not to snack, just in case I ever meet him!!!

  19. Excellent idea, glad to see this is finally trickling down from commercial printers into the domestic market. I also get tired of dried print heads, particularly infuriating when you’ve “recently” replaced the cartridges and only used them once before the dreaded streaky printing starts again…

  20. In life we have choices

  36. I too had an Epson Printer, to print A3 Photos for my daughter who got an A at “A” level photography, so well worth the price, however this has now died of old age, and my cat being ill over the keypad, made all but the simplest task undoable, would love to give this a try fingers crossed
