Barbie has quickly become an extra member of the family in the last few months, Little Bean just can’t get enough of her. She has countless Barbie dolls to go with her Barbie house and loves nothing more than to sit on her Barbie beanbag to watch her Barbie DVD’s. Her latest Barbie DVD acquisition is Barbie in the Pink Shoes which is due to be released on 18th March on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Kristyn (Barbie) dreams of being a ballet dancer and hopes to one day join a leading dance company, she looks up to the dance troupe’s lead dancer, Tara, but try as she might her performances just don’t hit the top spot. All this is about to change when she discovers a pair of magical pink ballet shoes which whisk her on a magical adventure in the world of ballet.
Kristyn and best friend Hailey stumble upon the evil Snow Queen on their journey through the mystical land where they find magic and mystery awaits them. In order to defeat the Snow Queen and be home in time to take their place in the school performance they must dance until their feet can dance no more, but will she be able to do it?
Little Bean LOVES this DVD, whenever she watches it she will make sure she has her Barbie Princess Victoria on hand to act out the part of Kristyn as she recreates the story. Barbie in the Pink Shoes is a great story of how hard work and determination can make your dreams come true. The film features iconic music from world famous ballets Giselle and Swan Lake.
