Last Sunday didn’t go quite as we had planned. Beanie Boy was having a sleepover at my Aunt’s house with Nanna but unfortunately he became ill through the night and was sick a number of times. The plan had been for him to spend the day with Nanna whilst Daddy, the remaining Beans and myself would head over to Nottingham to watch Daddy doing white water rafting for our friend’s 40th birthday. Understandably, Beanie Boy just wanted to come home to me so Daddy went off to Nottingham on his own whilst Nanna and I stayed at home with the Beans.
Althought it wasn’t the day I had been looking forward to we still had a good day. Little Bean and Nanna set to work on her school homework whilst the boys had their sleep and I had a sort through of all the clothes the Beans have grown out of and then when they woke up we popped to a nearby park for a change of scenery and to enjoy a bit of the sunshine.
Hubby returned home looking rather like a lobster (guess who forgot to wear sunscreen!!) and we switched places as I headed out for an evening of photography in Stamford. I shall share my pics with you once I have had an opportunity to sort through them.

I think they days were you make plans never turn out right but it does sound like you had a good day in the end.

Exactly, best laid plans and all that but at least it was fun in the end 🙂
