Fisher Price Soothe and Glow Seahorse

DSC04366 This is without doubt the most simple yet effective toy that I have come across. When we were sent the Seahorse to review I set to work on it straight away giving it to Beanie Boy as he lay down in his cot at bedtime. Immediately he reached his hand out and laid it on the glowing chest of the seahorse and just smiled. I walked out of the room and closed the door behind me wondering if it would actually encourage Beanie Boy to sit up and play but it didn’t, within minutes he was snoring his little head off. Occasionally in the night you will hear Beanie Boy shuffling around and then the music starts as he has squashed up against his seahorse, cuddled him or simply pressed on his big yellow chest but within minutes he is always sleeping soundly again. Every night when we lay Beanie Boy down to sleep he reaches his hand out to his Seahorse and falls asleep with his hand on the Seahorses’ glowing chest and a big smile on his face. In fact, I have been so impressed with the seahorse that I gave one to a friend of mine for their little boy and he loves it too, they even named it after me – how cool! They said that A gets so excited when he sees his seahorse and gives it a big cuddle when he gets his hands on it.
glowing The seahorse has a really cute face with big round eyes which I think attracts babies, and the fur is supersoft and cuddly. The big yellow tummy is made from a very soft rubber material and has a big heart on the front. The yellow is perfectly sized to be a target for baby to reach out to and press to be rewarded with a soft glow, soothing music and relaxing sea sounds. After 5 minutes the music and the lights gently fade. To keep everyone happy Soothe and Glow Seahorse comes in blue and pink and can be given to a baby from birth so would make an ideal first gift. It includes 8 lullabies and power/volume control for quieter play.
