DISCLAIMER: We were given pots of Anti-bacterial slime in exchange for this post. All words and opinions are my own.
I can’t actually remember when slime entered our lives, but I know it’s been around us for a very long time. First, it was Will and Lillie. Now Ollie and Albie are into it too, so I don’t think it will be going away any time soon. I will admit there have been times where I have thought, ‘really, more slime?’ but our newest addition to the slime family is a very welcome one.
Anti-bacterial Slime for Sanitising Hands
If your schools are anything like ours, they have taken hand sanitising up a whole new level since the Covid-19 pandemic, and your little one’s hands could well be suffering from it. The constant hand washing and sanitisers can be harsh on children’s delicate skin, making them reluctant to keep up the routine.
Canal Toys have come to the rescue with Anti-bacterial slime because we all know the best way to encourage kids to do something they don’t really want to is by making it fun!! It is non-toxic and contains no alcohol but has passed lots of stringent safety tests to ensure it does the job and doesn’t sting.
Kills 99.9% of Germs
By playing with the slime, squishing it through their fingers, rolling it around in their hands and moving it from one hand to the other, children have a fun and gentle way of sanitising their hands. It can even be used to clean toys, bike and scooter handles by rolling and squeezing the slime onto surfaces.
Anti-bacterial slime kills 99.9% of germs and lasts up to a month before it needs to be switched for a new one. It is non-sticky, fun and comes in 6 great colours which children will love.
The pots have a screw lid and a further airtight lid inside which helps to keep the slime . . . slimey and anti-bacterial.
You can buy pots individually or in multipacks online and at Smyths Toy Superstore.
This is a great idea, I know my two are constantly moaning that they have to wash their hands. This would be a great alternative and make a fab gift
Some children are really struggling with their skin, it’s so sad to see but this really helps x
I am sharing this with my SIL as I know the kiddies love slime so an anti-bacterial version might be a great alternative.
It’s such a clever alternative.
Eliza is obsessed by slime so would love this – her hands are red raw after using the school soap
Some children are really suffering from the constant hand washing. This is a fantastic alternative.
