Between 14 May – 12 June young visitors at SEA LIFE London Aquarium can get creative as the attraction teams up with CBeebies’ Mister Maker to produce six exclusive sea creature craft activities, from a paper-plate stingray to a foil and tissue paper shark.
As they explore the aquarium, young guests will collect all the necessary materials to create a Mister Maker crab which can then be made at home with the help of a simple online video. Additional craft zones in the attraction will enable children to create up to five more ‘makes’ during their visit as the amazing real-life creatures swim past just inches away!
Along with the ray and shark, children will also get the chance to make a handprint octopus, a cake-case jellyfish, a bottle cap and pipe-cleaner crab and a colourful tropical fish, encouraging re-use and recycling of common household items.
This exclusive and hands-on event is available for visitors to all 11 UK and Ireland SEA LIFE Centres. The Mister Maker shows have covered seven series so far and are among the highest rated shows on the CBeebies channel.
PLUS don’t forget there are thousands of other animals to enthral and delight throughout the South Bank attraction, including our resident octopus, Cuban crocodile, crabs, starfish, sharks and jellyfish – and for the intrepid, special VIP experiences like a Shark Feed, Turtle Feed and Snorkelling with Sharks Experience.
