I do remember a conversation many moons ago when talking to a bunch of Mummy friends about famous guys who we fancied saying “who’s he?” when the name Justin Fletcher came up. I thought he was some movie hunk that I had missed out on but actually he’s a children’s TV personality who is now a household name, most commonly known as Mr Tumble from Something Special or Justin from Justin’s House to name just a few. Little Bean at the time was still only a baby so we hadn’t ventured into children’s TV but now Justin feels like part of our family. Even Beanie Boy who only knows a few words manage to mumble something resembling Justin.
Today, Monday 5th March sees a new Justin product to add to the collection in the form of a new CD titled Hands Up . . . The Album. This is a brilliant album for getting the children up to boogie, and my children love to boogie! The title track is a dancy little number to get the party started whilst the rest of the songs on the album are classic children’s songs such as The Hokey Cokey, The Grand Old Duke of York and The Wheels on the Bus.
When Little Bean was a baby I would sing “The Sun has got his hat on” every morning as I opened her blinds, unless it was raining in which case I would sing my own sulky version of “The sun’s not got his hat on” and it never failed to make her smile so it brought back happy memories to hear the song again on the Hands Up album.
This album is guaranteed to be a hit with your little ones, especially if they are big Justin fans but don’t just take my word for it, go and grab your copy now!
**As for my friend fancying Justin, I don’t see it myself but to each his own!**
I love Justin!! How can you not see it? 🙂
