Each month I am going to bring you guest posts from fellow bloggers to introduce you to some of the other amazing bloggers who are out there. These posts will be titled All About The Blogger so I hope that you will pop over and say hello to them too.

Introducing Amy . . .

Hello! I’m Amy and I have been writing my parenting and lifestyle blog for over 4yrs. I started writing as a pregnancy diary as a place to vent about my frustrations and fears and it all grew from there!

All About A Mummy

Q1. How would your best friend describe you? (not sure then ask them)

I asked her! She said ‘Thoughtful, dependable, endlessly sensible, kind-hearted, slightly gin-obsessed and remarkably resilient. Also born with an acute funny bone which means we all have fun whenever you she tells us a story from her day”

Q2. What is your favourite thing about blogging?

The freedom to have a voice without restraint and the knowledge that I’m helping people in some small way.

Q3. If you could change anything about blogging, what would it be?

GDPR. I don’t think I need to say anymore.

Q4. If you were invited to a Blogger’s Cocktail Party, which three bloggers would you invite and why?

Chantelle from MamaMummyMum (www.mamamummymum.co.uk) because I love her Read With Me linky

Darren from Photalife (www.photalife.com) so he can teach me how to use my camera properly!

And Emily from A Mummy Too (www.amummytoo.co.uk) because I love her blog style.

Q5. What is the best blogging tip you have been given?

Don’t worry about the stats – as long as you are loving it, keep doing it and don’t change it to please others

Q6. When you aren’t blogging, where is your favourite place to visit for a day out?

We spend a lot of time down in Brighton as it is only half an hour from us. The kids love the pier, the lanes are great for shopping and some great restaurants to eat at. Plus the sea air is great for destress

Q7. Tell us about your guilty pleasure. It could be food, drink, a TV programme or your favourite band.

TV box sets. I have about 3 on the go at any one time. Any thriller or drama will do!

Q8. If you knew you were going to be marooned on a desert island and could take 3 luxury items with you, what would they be?

  1. The longest book I could find
  2. The second longest book I could find
  3. My pillow

Q9. What was the last good book you read?

Eleanor Oiliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. What an amazing and unusual book! I highly recommend it.

Q10. Describe your perfect date night?

A good Italian restaurant followed by ice cream at the cinema.
