In my almost 6 years of parenting, I couldn’t even begin to hazard a guess as to how many nappies I have changed (or even dare to estimate how much we have spent on nappies). I know some parents are very brand loyal but as a family, we do a swap and change around to see what different brands have to offer. Initially, I would turn my nose up at Supermarket own-brand nappies because I thought they wouldn’t be as good as the premium brands but over time and as a result of my blog we have tried out many different supermarket brands and have often been impressed with the results where others have been disappointed. I think it often comes down to (a) personal preference and (b) individual circumstances; different skin types, baby’s diet and frequency of changing nappies.
Mamia Nappies
Recently we were sent the Aldi Mamia Nappies to try and found them to do exactly the job they were made for. The nappies are a cute and soft design that fitted well and even after a 12-hour stint through the night showed no signs of leakage or causing a nappy rash. We didn’t have any issues with breaking tapes or ill-fitting waistbands, in short, Jelly Bean seemed very happy with these nappies and as a result, so were we. I’m not sure we could ask for more and at a fraction of the price of some of the premium branded nappies, we had some change in our pockets which is always a bonus.
