There was always the worry that being the only girl amongst three brothers that Little Bean would be a tom-boy but I’m happy to say that although she is a sporty little lady, she is very girly too. She loves all things pink, purple, sparkly and fluffy. She loves dolls and dressing up, handbags and high heels so when I was asked by House of Fraser if I would like to review an item of clothing for Little Bean or the boys there was one item which stood out by a mile.
Little Bean is Pretty In Pink
The beautiful Ombre Fur Gillet by Little Dickins & Jones raised squeals of delight from Little Bean when she first laid eyes on it and Mummy scored some serious brownie points for making the right choice. It is 100% acrylic fur and machine washable at 30c (also suitable for Dry Cleaning). Whilst it is water resistant, it is not waterpoof.
Over the weekend we had the perfect opportunity for Little Bean to wear her new gillet as we were heading to Doddington Hall for a Fairytale Christmas. We teamed the gillet with a dark teal long sleeved tee, sparkly brown shorts, cream floral tights and brown boots and she looked fabulous. Little Bean was delighted with her outfit! It worked really well with her floral tights and long boots, the slightly longer line meant that you couldn’t actually see her shorts but this made it look more like a dress which she thought was great. It would work equally as well with jeans or leggings and a sweatshirt underneath for a warmer outfit.

This was the first time I had heard of Little Dickins & Jones but upon looking on the House of Fraser website I have seen some beautiful items in their range which would be lovely for Little Bean. They have a beautiful selection of party and occasion clothes as well as everyday attire and winter coats all at very reasonable prices. The Ombre Fur Gillet was £35 but is currently on special offer at £28 and is available in sizes 3-4 years, 5-6 years and 9-10 years.
