When it comes to having the best-looking yard in the neighbourhood, don’t count out the option for laying artificial grass. The reason that artificial grass is a good choice is because of its versatility and ease of care! Before you say “no” to the idea, take the time to educate yourself on how artificial grass may just be the answer to your yard “woes”.
How many hours have you spent trying to get your grass to have that naturally green and healthy look? If you’re breaking out a sweat just thinking about it, then you probably already know that what you’re doing isn’t working. Don’t fret. The answer to your lawn care needs might be easier than you think! Here are 3 simple reasons why artificial grass is a good choice for a wide variety of lawns.
3 Reasons Artificial Grass is a Good Choice
While there are actually more than three great reasons, these are the ones that most people can probably relate to the best.
Artificial grass is low maintenance
Let that sink in…that means that you’ll spend more time doing things that you love versus being outside doing lawn care that you don’t really care for doing. No mowing, no weed-eating, no watering during those hot summer days…nothing. When you have artificial grass, you literally don’t have to worry about much else.
Your yard will look green and alive all year long
Does all that dead grass during the colder months of the year make you feel a bit down? If you decide to go with artificial grass in your yard, your grass will literally always be green. How awesome would it be to sit outside on your porch all year long and see bright, beautiful green grass each and every day?
Less mess outside means less mess inside as well
Did you know that every time you, your animals or anyone in your family walks outside in your yard as it is now, everyone and everything is bringing in dirt, mud, and grass? All that stuff that you’re sweeping up from the floor each and every day is more than likely from your front yard!
When you decide to lay artificial grass, the tracking in of the dirt and mud is done. No worries about animal prints or people bringing it in because the artificial grass is actually mess-free. That means that you’ll spend less time having to clean the floors when there isn’t any dirt or grass being dragged inside!
While these three reasons for artificial grass are compelling, don’t forget that the main reason for having artificial grass is truly about convenience and ease of use. This is one product that you know without a doubt that you can purchase, install and not have to worry about at all.
And just think about all that free time you’ll have now that you aren’t outside doing the yard work on a weekly basis! You’ll be amazed that once you lay the artificial grass in your yard you literally won’t have to lift a figure to do anything more with it.
These are great reasons. It is something we are looking at right now as our garden is so long, it’s a lot of hard work to upkeep!
I wish we had artificial grass. After all the rain we finally had a dry day so I decided to cut the grass to save my husband doing it when he got home from work and I was exhausted by the time I had finished!
We don’t have a yard so not something we need to think about. But my husband is allergic to grass pollen, so if we did I think he’d prefer artificial.
Yep, grass pollen is a real problem for some people so this is where artificial grass would be perfect.
I think the low maintenance is the biggest thing for me! So easy if not mowing! X
High five, I am right there with you on that one! x
We have turf and it’s a mess now. I wish we’d gone with artificial like I wanted to in the first place.
Turf can be very hit and miss, it took us a few times to get it right in the beginning.
I can see why it is such a good idea. It is low maintenance and looks good all year round. I can totally see the benefits!
It is definitely something we would consider doing, our lawn is either too boggy or cracked and dry. No happy in between.
It definitely doesn’t require so much watering! That saves a lot of money.
Exactly, so much more efficient in more ways than one.
We half looked at having it. But its a lot of money, and my husband likes the natural look.
It is definitely a decision of personal choice. My husband would love to make the switch to artificial.
Wow, this looks so good! I always to have a garden but I can’t see anything around the house where grass will grow. Planning to have one.
Sounds like a great idea. We had problems with low light on an area of our garden so ended up putting decking but we would now love to add artificial grass to finish it off.
it really is a great choice , sadly of you have pets after few years it gets heavily discolored and you need to ideally clean it with kenel disinfectant to rmove the amonia smell kind regards pati Robins
That’s handy to know thank you.
I have thought about putting artificial grass on my balcony. I live in a flat so I don’t have garden. It would be lovely to have a small ‘artificial garden’ where definitely I would spend days and nights in summer. My mum, however, doesn’t have artificial grass but she ordered a clumpy grass which makes quite mexican landscape in front of her house. I am talking about https://gardenseedsmarket.com/mexican-feather-grass-pony-tails-seeds-stipa-tenuissima-100-seeds.html which is ornamental one. She is in love!
I think that would be a lovely idea for a balcony.
