Today the tiddlers and I headed over to Wellingborough to meet up with our lovely friend Paul from When I Was A Kid to have a sneaky peak at his new shop before it opens its doors to the public tomorrow. It had changed massively from when we visited a few weeks ago, Mrs Warner had done a fabulous job of decorating the shop and just wait until you see the cool till point, the children will just love it!
Paul is just a big kid at heart and so he wants to make his shop more of an experience that ‘just a toy shop’ so there is a cool play area in the corner of the shop which is going to be themed, the first theme is ‘Let’s make music’ so my little tiddlers were testing their skills at the piano – how cute is that piano?
Paul has been selling traditional and wooden toys online for the past 5 years with great success, their customer service is second to none and if you want the personal touch then Paul is the man for the job. If you want to pop down to the new shop to see what I mean you will find him at Nene Court in Wellingborough, you won’t be disappointed!
We did our little bit of ‘PR’ for Paul and visited all the local shops to tell them all about When I Was A Kid and left some special ‘money-off’ vouchers for their customers when they visit the new shop. It felt really exciting to be a part of something new and fun so we would like to say ‘thank you’ to Paul and Mrs W for letting us in on your new venture and Good Luck – you deserve it!! x
