A couple of weeks ago my Mother-in-Law invited me to attend the opening of a new Beauty and Holistic Therapy Salon just up the road from her house. After spending a day at a Spa just a few months ago I am all for a bit of pampering and the idea of pampering just a few doors away from Nanny & Grandad’s creche seems too good to pass up on. My MIL had told me that the Salon had been built in the lady’s back garden so I wasn’t too sure what to expect but what I didn’t expect to find was this little sanctuary . . .
When we arrived we were introduced to Rebecca Squires the lady behind ‘and so beautiful . . .’ who was very welcoming and very calm despite this being an opening event for her new business (I would have been a bag of nerves but if she was nervous it didn’t show!). I always think that if you want to go somewhere to relax you need to be around calm people, Rebecca would have no problems in this area at all.
Rebecca was made redundant almost a year to the day of opening her new salon and has spent the last year wisely learning and preparing to open her own business, she is trained in all manner of pampering treatments from waxing to massage, Hopi Ear Candles to makeup, Sienna X Spray tanning to Decleor aromatherapy and Jessica manicures and pedicures.
Rebecca and her husband have created this beautiful haven at the bottom of her garden, the surroundings are so peaceful and idyllic with a calming waiting area complete with WC and shower facilities if you want to freshen up after a body treatment. Situated in Orton Waterville just a 5 minute drive from Peterborough town centre, there is ample parking – all you have to do is book your treatment and let Rebecca do the rest, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
There is no question as to whether or not you will love the treatments, you will be asking yourself when you can fit the next one in but to give yourself a little treat between visits you can purchase the products which Rebecca uses for a little home pampering session.
One month on, Rebecca is very pleased to report that she has been very busy but still keen to welcome new clients – to find out more about the treatments available or to contact Rebecca you can find her by clicking any of the links below.
Don’t forget Christmas is coming – how about buying a voucher for a loved one so they can feel pampered this Christmas too?
