We had hoped that we would be able to spend a lot more time with our Skegness contingent of Besties but our diaries just haven’t worked in coordination this Summer and as a result this was our only day out.
During the first week of #MummyMattersSummer2015 we met up with MumtoC and the two C’s at Ayscoughee Hall. The sun was shining and it was a place that neither of us had visited before. The day was filled with promise . . .
I would love to say that this was a ‘lovely’ and ‘fun-filled’ day but it was actually a rather stressful day out. My Beans were on top ‘let’s wind Mummy up’ form and at one point I did have to walk away leaving MumtoC in charge whilst I had a mini-meltdown.
If you don’t take that into account, the rest of the day was great. I got to catch up with my lovely friend, had cuddles with my beautiful God-daughter-to-be and the Beans had fun with their friends.
Once we had finished at Ayscoughee Hall we popped to the Gardens at Springfields for a walk but even that didn’t end well, when MasterC fell over in the gravel and cut his arm, leg and ankle rather badly. Thankfully, the First Aider at Springfield was first class in cleaning him up and putting a smile back on his face.
As my good friend Karin at Embrace Happy would say,
“Not every day is good, but there is good in every day!”.
