Today’s weather was a world away from the horrible weather we have been experiencing this week, gone was the blustery winds and out came the sunshine. If it hadn’t been for the fact that I had to go into town AGAIN for some curtains which STILL turned out to be wrong then today we would have been hanging out with our friends at one of our favourite haunts, Burghley House.
Last year (I think) you wouldn’t have been able to see this view because this beautiful Church in the centre of Peterborough was hidden by a large block of shops and the main town post office. Thankfully someone saw sense and knocked the shops down and landscaped around the Church and now it looks stunning, particularly on a day like today. I had been meaning to take photographs for some time and today the opportunity came up with some normally reluctant willing models . . .
Today was probably one of the longest periods of time I have spent in Peterborough town centre with Little Bean walking (and Beanie Boy in his pushchair) ever and apart from the odd little niggle she was a really good girl today. I actually went home completely not stressed which is a first!!
