A Day at She’s Electric Live: Celebrating Sustainability in Cheltenham

On Saturday, 12th October, I had the pleasure of attending She’s Electric Live at the stunning Ellenborough Park Hotel in Cheltenham with my Mum. It was an event that truly lived up to its name, offering a blend of sustainability, style, and inspiration that left a lasting impact on everyone who attended. We attended last year, too, and loved it, so we were excited to go back.

The day was about bringing together inspiring women and lifestyle enthusiasts to discuss the future of sustainable living. Hosted by the fabulous Jo Elvin, the event highlighted the importance of making the switch to electric and living our best stylish and sustainable lives. The atmosphere was charged with energy, and it was incredible to see so many like-minded individuals coming together in Cheltenham to celebrate positive change.

One of the highlights of She’s Electric Live was the opportunity to explore a range of beautiful ethical lifestyle brands. These brands are leading the way in creating stylish products that have a positive impact on both people and the planet. From eco-friendly fashion to innovative home goods, there was something for everyone who values sustainability and wants to make a difference.

The event was filled with inspiring women who shared their incredible stories of resilience, creativity, and passion for making the world a better place. Listening to these women was truly empowering and served as a reminder of the impact we can all make when we come together. Their stories of resilience and joy brought a sense of community and a shared purpose, inspiring us to think about how we can contribute to a more sustainable future.

A unique feature of the day was the chance to test drive the latest electric vehicles from the Volkswagen ID range, which added an extra layer of excitement. For those curious about making the switch to electric, this was an ideal opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience the benefits firsthand. The electrifying drive experience was not only informative but also a lot of fun, sparking conversations about the future of sustainable transportation.

During my test drive at She’s Electric Live, the VW ID4 impressed me with its seamless blend of practicality and modern tech. Inside, the ID4 offered a spacious, airy cabin and an intuitive infotainment system, making it perfect for families needing ample room without sacrificing convenience. The driving experience was smooth and responsive, with impressive torque and a quiet ride, embodying what an electric vehicle should feel like. With a range that fits well for daily commutes and family trips alike, the ID4 makes transitioning to electric not only feasible but enjoyable.

Taking the VW Buzz for a spin at She’s Electric Live was an experience that felt nostalgic and futuristic all at once. Its iconic design pays homage to the classic VW camper while delivering a spacious, ultra-modern interior perfect for road trips or family outings. The Buzz’s performance on the road was smooth and stable, capturing that relaxed vibe while offering ample power for a full load. For those looking for a fun, versatile EV with a dash of retro charm, the VW Buzz feels like a breath of fresh air in the electric vehicle market.
