Little Learning Bears specialise in pre-school and infant learning folders and educational resources. The folders contain 20 interactive, laminated learning pages created by a qualified and experienced primary school teacher.
Introducing Little Learning Bears
Francesca Orsetto founded little Learning Bears. Francesca is a qualified and experienced primary school teacher and mum who started creating pre-school learning folders during the initial Covid-19 lockdown. She first created the learning folders for her daughter. Her reaction inspired her to create a folder for her 4-year-old nephew, this time with content suitable for his age group and an additional language, as he goes to a Welsh-medium school.
From there, Francessca started receiving requests from family and friends, and the requests kept snowballing to the point where she was operating a full business.
What are the Little Learning Bears?
The bears represent the different stages of learning. They prefer to use the concept of ‘stages’ rather than fixed age groups as children all learn differently and at different paces, especially during the early years. This being said, they have given guide age ranges to help parents and carers with assigning folders to their children.
What do the folders contain?
The folders begin with The Koala Bear and move through to the Panda Bear, The Grizzly Bear and The Polar Bear. The activities inside each folder are highly engaging and support the development of numeracy, literacy and science. They encourage problem-solving through puzzles and patterns and independent learning, although adult supervision is required due to small parts. Each folder will arrive inside a gift box, with a whiteboard pen/eraser and set of ‘Notes and Guidance’ for parents and carers.
Parents love them too
The folders have been widely successful across the UK & Ireland since the business launched during the first lockdown. The products have also been popular with several celebrity parents, including Ferne McCann, Mario Falcone, Tanya Bardsley and many more.
The folders have not only been extremely helpful to so many children but have reduced the huge amount of pressure on parents who have been home-schooling throughout the pandemic. In the future, they will also be an amazing way for parents to learn and play with their children to aid their development.
Giveaway Time
Mummy Matters will be giving away 3 of the folders, each of which will be tailored and personalised to the lucky winner’s children. Good luck!
