You only need to look in our bedroom to see how much I love jewellery, I blame my Mum for it. She has always loved it too and started me off on collecting pieces from a young age. When I became a Mum, jewellery took on a whole new meaning for me with necklaces, rings and bracelets being gifted to me on the birth of my babies, or special birthdays.
Kaya Jewellery
I recently discovered Kaya Jewellery, a beautiful site created by Tanja, Mum of three who wanted to develop a brand of affordable, high-quality children’s jewellery and a matching range for Mum’s so they can celebrate the precious milestones in a daughter’s life together. Tanja’s daughter Kaya had wanted a bracelet to match her Mum’s when she was going to a party and said “This way people can see that we belong together” which is a lovely sentiment for a little girl to have.
Charitable Giving
It’s always nice to learn about the support which brands give to charities and Kaya is no stranger to charitable giving. Tanja wanted to give a little something back so when she came into contact with Eduki (Education for Kids Foundation) who ensure that underprivileged children in the Gambia can access education. Tanja donates a proportion of her profits to this cause and now sponsors 10 children.
Meaningful jewellery for baby, child and Mum
Kaya offers a wide range of pieces for babies, children and Mum. There are some beautiful Mother and Daughter jewellery sets as well as 3 generation sets for Grandmother, Mum and Daughter.
