Gorleston-on-Sea with its huge bay, children’s paddling pool and yacht pond is a firm family favourite beach along with the spacious beach at Hemsby Hole.
Escape inland for wide-open skies, Norfolk countryside, quaint Norfolk villages and the famous Norfolk Broads where day boats, canoes and stand up paddleboards can be hired. Rollesby, Ormesby and Filby surround the famous, tranquil Trinity Broads with some fabulous walks and great places to eat and admire the view where rowing boats can also be hired.
There are some great open spaces and parks, with nautically themed playgrounds for the kids to tear around.
