Little Tiger and Tidy Books team up for kids’ Summer Reading Campaign

Wouldn’t it be satisfying if kids lounged around with a book or two on those long summer days? Children’s publisher, Little Tiger Press, has teamed up with Tidy Books; children’s bookcase company to promote Little Tiger’s Reading Rocks! summer reading campaign, aimed to combat the traditional summer holiday reading dip.

There is lots going on over the summer months, including events across the UK with Little Tiger authors and illustrators and on the special Reading Rocks website (www.littletigerreadingrocks.com), you will find a free audio book to listen to read by Justin Fletcher, videos of authors reading from their books, activity sheets and a reading chart to download and print, plus there are tips for parents to help their little ones read.

To whet appetites for reading, parents and children also have the chance to win their own home library on the website. The prize will consist of a Tidy Books Children’s bookcase, complete with a bundle of Little Tiger picture books to create a fabulous reading corner at home! To enter the competition, visit www.littletigerreadingrocks.com.

Kids do judge a book by its cover, and the award winning Tidy Books Children’s Bookcase is the perfect way to display and store your children’s books with front covers facing out, making it easy for kids to get to know their books and to love reading them

From clumsy big-bottomed bears to a giraffe who loves to count, Little Tiger’s range of summer picture books including Abigail and Big Bear’s Bottom, are brilliant for capturing kids’ imaginations with their beautifully bright and bold artwork and lively stories and loveable characters.

Made from sustainable wood and finished in an eco-friendly water lacquer, Tidy Books bookcases were created by mum and violin maker, Geraldine Grandidier for her daughter. She has added more kid’s storage ideas to the Tidy Books range, which are sold in John Lewis and around the world.
