On Thursday afternoon the Beans and I popped over to Burghley House to make the most of the sunshine since we haven’t seen very much of it this week. It was such a mild afternoon that we even managed to go without coats. The beautiful blue sky was a very welcome sight and the fresh air was just what we needed.
Last Sunday, Simon and I watched Top Gear. We were really surprised to see Matt, Chris and Rory racing cars around The Burghley Estate, to see the cars whizzing through the grounds, over the Lion Bridge, through the water and onto the front lawn. I have to admit I was slightly gutted that I missed them when they were right here on my doorstep.
