Two weeks ago a large parcel was delivered to my door especially for Little Bean. That afternoon she was to have a playdate with one of her school friends so I decided to let the girls open the box and see what delights were hiding inside. There were squeals of delight as the girls pulled out boxes and packages galore. We lined them up for a quick piccy to share with you all before tearing open the packaging and letting them loose on the goods.
Who are Pinypon?
So, let’s tell you a little bit about Pinypon . . . they aren’t just cute big eyed dolls, they are completely interchangeable with each other so you can mix and match their heads, upper bodies, lower bodies, hair and accessories to create lots of new dolls. You can turn their heads around to switch their facial expressions and have them smiling, winking or frowning. The individual dolls are ‘pocket money’ blind bag toys at just £2.99each they are extremely good value for money. Currently available at The Entertainer, Toys R Us and from July they will also be available in Argos.
Fairytale Characters
To compliment the main series of Pinypon figures, Bandai will also be releasing a collection inspired by favourite characters from popular fairy tales, including Little Red Riding Hood, Pinocchio, Rapunzel, Pocahontas and Mary Poppins. In June there will also be a Fairy Tales House complete with Cinderella figure (rrp £24.99) for them to live in.
Princess Carriage
As well as a large number of the individual characters, Little Bean also received a Princess Carriage (rrp £14.99) which the girls really loved. Folded up it’s a moveable carriage for your Prince and Princes characters (rrp £9.99) to travel in and when stationary it opens up to reveal a dressing room complete with mirror and a treasure chest to hold all of the Princess’ accessories.
Fairy Pinypon
Little Bean has already got her eyes on the Fairy Pinypon range which is due out later this year, not only are they extremely cute but each figure also comes with their very own unicorn pet.
Sharing with friends
Little Bean received so many of the Pinypon dolls she decided to share them not only with her friend who came for a playdate but also with a few of her besties at school. They were also delighted with their new dolls and have become firm fans already, declaring they knew exactly what they were going to be spending their pocket money on.
Love from . . . Pinypon Magazine
As if getting all these amazing dolls and carriage wasn’t enough, Little Bean was also lucky enough to receive a complimentary copy of the Love from . . . Pinypon magazine by Kennedy Publishing which is packed with great crafting projects and free gifts. Little Bean’s friend declared “oh wow you are soooooo lucky”.

These dolls seem like fun at a reasonable price Having boys I don’t have any experience of toys like this but I’m sure they’re popular.
Ah yes not really a boys toy but great for party presents, goody bags and young girl family members 🙂
Eliza adores these, although Sebby has stolen a few away for himself – check out ToysRUs, they have the plane for £6
Really?! Thank you for the tipoff, LB and I were going to have a peak at The Entertainer next week but we can always make a detour via Toys R Us 🙂
