Back in the Summer, I told you all about the National Citizen Service programme. At the time I had hoped that Will would be able to go as it looked to be a brilliant programme and something he would really enjoy. Sadly for Will, it didn’t work out as we couldn’t make it work around his respective family holidays and I am sure this is the case for many others too.
NCS Autumn Programme
Fear not, there is a chance to get another bite of the cherry because the National Citizen Service Programme is back for Autumn AND there’s 50% off. This means the NCS Autumn programme is just £25 for your 16-17-year-old to experience the week of a lifetime. To secure their place you need to book before 22nd October (although spaces are limited to be quick) and remember to quote the promotion code AUTUMN25 when prompted at checkout.
What happens at the NCS Autumn Programme?
This is a great opportunity for teens to make new friends, build confidence and do something amazing for their local community in this government-backed youth programme. Whilst at NCS students will take part in outward-bound activities including three days of activities and an end of programme celebration event. It also includes:
-
Getting involved in exciting activities
-
Developing leadership skills
-
Meeting incredible new friends
-
A great boost to CVs & UCAS applications
-
Giving back to local communities
What does the price cover?
The £25 fee covers all their food, accommodation and activities during their four-days away from home. To date, more than 500,000 teens have taken part in NCS, providing an amazing 12 million hours to social action projects since NCS began.
What the teens say
I ran into a group of teens locally who had attended NCS over the Summer and asked them what they thought of the experience. In their words it was “awesome, we had so much fun and didn’t want to come home. It was the best Summer ever”.
Places are available now – to take advantage of the 50% discount offer visit www.ncsyes.co.uk before half term (22nd October) using promo code AUTUMN25.
I love this and will definitely be encouraging Boo to go when she is older. I saw loads of kids doing the NCS in Devon this year and they looked to be having a blast x
Our 17 year old will be going on Friday until next Wednesday and is really looking forward to it so I might see if he fancies writing up a post about his experience of it x
