So how was your weekend? Our weekend began with the end of our camping holiday but I’m going to save those photographs for another day. Saturday was all about the brilliant new gadget from LeapFrog, the LeapBand. We were invited down to London Zoo for a fun Sports event for the Beans to take part in with sporting stars Greg Rutherford and Beth Tweddle. I shall be telling you more about our day in a later post but for now I will tell you that it was a fun-filled but tiring day . . .
The highlight of our trip around ZSL London Zoo following the event was seeing the beautiful Tiger Cubs and the Iguana, two of my favourite animals (if you don’t count my children!!).
After all that walking and the steaming heat of the day I ended up with a less than ladylike ankle but then again, this is a pretty common sight for me these days.
Sunday has been all about getting back into the swing of things at home after a week away. Little Bean went out with Nanna for the day whilst the boys (who have both been poorly) caught up on sleep, helped Daddy do jobs outdoors and I stayed quietly inside resting my ankle where I could, catching up on work, editing photographs and putting away all the children’s clothes and tidying their bedrooms.
