3 Internet Safety Tips to Share with Your Kids

May 25, 2018 By: Sabina Green 0 Comments

Woohoo finally made it back to my favourite indoor Woohoo finally made it back to my favourite indoor cycling class @spinroomstudio, albeit with a slightly different format for the time being.
.
It is not currently instructor lead. The music is on and a list of tracks at the front of the class tells you what kind of class it is: sprints, press-up, hill climbs etc.
.
I am pleased to say that I did not fall off my bike, faint or give up and I still felt good (and a bit achy) by the end.
.
I have been wanting to get back on the bike for so long and it was 100% worth it 🚲❤️
.
Have you been back to the gym yet? What have you missed?

HAMERTON ZOO . We have been visiting Hamerton Zoo HAMERTON ZOO
.
We have been visiting Hamerton Zoo for as long as I can remember.
.
Yesterday we made it back to one of our favourite places and were delighted to see there have been more changes. From new babies, to new breeds like the beautiful Syrian Bears and new enclosures. They will even have snazzy new toilets opening soon.
.
For the first time in my life I saw a baby Camel which was extremely cute!! Swipe through pics ♥
.
Hamerton have put a one way system in place which works well and even though it was busy, we felt safe at all times.
.
We had such a good day, we will definitely be back again soon.

Lamb Love 😍 . One thing I have always wanted to Lamb Love 😍
.
One thing I have always wanted to do and never been able to before or remembered until it was too late, was to cuddle a lamb.
.
It was so worth the wait because this little bundle gave the best cuddles.
.
The Beans decided to name him Timmy, he was just 5 days old.
.
I always assumed a lamb might be a bit of a wriggler but 'Timmy' was anything but, he snuggled right into me and I found it seriously hard to hand him over to the Beans for their turns because I wanted to keep him for myself. He gave a cute little bleat now and then but mostly just snuggled.
.
I sent a photo to Hubby and asked if we could have a lamb but it was a firm 'NO!'. Such a spoil sport 😔 I bet @lyndagreen9990 would have let us have one 🤣
.
Have you had a cuddle with a lamb before?

Quiet. . I have been a bit quiet on here for the l Quiet.
.
I have been a bit quiet on here for the last few days because I haven't been feeling well since my Covid jab.
.
I was OK initially and then on day 3-4 I started to feel very fluey and achy all over.
.
It was Simon's birthday this weekend so he took Friday and Monday off for some extended family time which was lovely.
.
Yesterday I woke with an horrific migraine, the worst I have had in a while. I tried to stay in the dark for a few hours and then gradually eased myself into the light wearing sunglasses in the house. The Beans thought this hilarious.
.
Finally around 2.30pm the migraine lifted and I craved fresh air so we went to a local woodland and it was perfect. We barely saw a soul, the Beans explored, the dogs ran themselves ragged and we finished by building a den.
.
Only Albie could insist on 'carpet' in the den by means of pieces of bark he found on the forest floor 🤣

How was your weekend?

Blowing away the cobwebs. . I worked yesterday mor Blowing away the cobwebs.
.
I worked yesterday morning whilst the kids played tech of varying descriptions. Then at lunchtime we packed up some lunch and drove over to @rutlandwater to meet Simon for his lunch break.
.
The sun was extremely deceptive because it was baltic!! Did we let that put us off? Of course not!
.
After Simon returned to work we went for a walk and found a little shaded area where we could skim stones out of the wind. It felt vaguely tropical, Albie even wanted to take his shoes off for a paddle but I didn't have a towel or change of clothes so it was a no from me.
.
At one point we were joined by ducks who assumed we had food. We didn't. All was going well until one over amorous duck decided to have his wicked way with Mrs Duck (and his friend tried to join in too!!). I can honestly say I have never seen ducks mating before but it was pretty brutal, he bites the back of her head and forces her head under water 💦 There's certainly no romance in nature 💔
.
Today is our last day just the four of us, Simon is home for his long birthday weekend so we are hoping for warm weather (I don't think it is forecast).

Meeting Harry 💙 . This is our rather scrumptiou Meeting Harry 💙
.
This is our rather scrumptious new nephew Harry who was born in November on his Nanny's birthday after a socially distanced family day out.
.
Thanks to Covid restrictions, we haven't been able to meet him until now but he was so worth the wait. What a gorgeous happy little chap he is.
.
The children played outside and loved catching up with their younger cousins. Lillie especially loves to see her younger cousins, she calls them her 'little girls' ❤️ ❤️
