#NOTANAD Yesterday we popped over to @baytree_owls #NOTANAD Yesterday we popped over to @baytree_owls at Spalding to see the beautiful birds and animals they have and to get some fresh air. . I bought an annual pass at the beginning of the Summer and we have used it lots of times since then. . One of the highlights of our visit is always the flying display at 1.30pm. They change the birds around for each display and so far we haven't seen the same display twice. This weekend is the last display until Easter so get over there this half term and check out why we love it so much. . Each time we go it has been nice to see they are making more changes to improve the centre for their birds and animals, with more plans in the next couple of weeks. . It was Simon's first time visiting and he was impressed at how healthy the birds looked and thought it was one of the best flying displays he has seen. . It feels like forever since I posted on the grid. It feels like forever since I posted on the grid. Life has been pretty full on of late with all the work on the house firmly in our court now. . There are still a few little bits that the builders need to finish but it's mostly decorating, carpets and lugging furniture from one room to another in the process. To say we are exhausted is an understatement but it is coming together slowly and we are loving see each transformation as it happens. . On Sunday we took time out to celebrate Ollie's birthday with his friends with a trip to @rockupadventure at @rushdenlakessc and we had a blast. It felt good to be doing something fun away from the house that pushed us all out of our comfort zones too. It was also good for the Beans to see Mum and Dad joining in on the fun as we have been so fixated on the house. . It has made me even more determined to try to book a getaway somewhere for October half term. I think we need it more than ever. .
