Will you be watching Get Santa this Christmas?

I love the run up to Christmas with the Beans, we do lots of Christmas crafting, we drive around our local area when it’s dark to see all the Christmas lights on houses and in gardens and then we snuggle up under blankets in the lounge, close the curtains and watch Christmas movies. As a special treat when they have been good we will go to the cinema and pick a Christmas movie if they are showing one. This year I have got my eye on Get Santa starring Jim Broadbent as Santa and starring our local film legend Warwick Davis.

It’s days before Christmas and reindeer are found running loose through the streets of London. Meanwhile an astonished 9 year-old Tom (newcomer Kit Connor) discovers Santa (Jim Broadbent) in the garden shed.

He has crash-landed while test-driving his new sleigh and enlists Tom and his father Steve (Rafe Spall) to help him get back to Lapland. But what happens when Santa is arrested and thrown into prison? Will Steve and Tom be able to break him out in time for Christmas?

Get Santa is a heart-warming and funny family adventure about a father and son reconnecting to discover the magic of Christmas.

Get Santa has an all-star British cast and I think it will have my Beans laughing in their seats. What do you say? Are you going to join us?!
