When I started doing my #OWIP posts a couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I may or may not start doing this as a linky to see what everyone else gets up to over their weekends. I have always found that I really wanted to share pictures of my weekend but by the time I got around to editing them, making them into pretty collages and then writing up a post around them the weekend was a distant memory so I wanted something quick and simple so that I have captured the moment.

This weekend we caught up with friends . . .
. . . we spent the day in London for a blog event and it was soooooo hot!! The Beans were all brilliant, especially Little Bean and Beanie Boy who had to walk for miles and only moaned a little bit.
At the Beans’ request we paid a visit to Disney Store (it’s a pre-requisite for any London trip) and had lots of fun at our blog event where we were able to catch up with some lovely friends we hadn’t seen in a while and made some new ones too (more on the event to follow).
We finished off our day in London with a trip to Pizza Express in Kensington (Olympia) which unfortunately wasn’t the best. The service was beyond slow and very poor, the food was good but it ended with Little Bean falling over in the toilets on a huge patch of soap on the floor and banging her head.
On Sunday Hubby did a car boot sale and then we visited B&Q to get a quote for built-in wardrobes and finished off with good old #familyfilmnight (Turbo) but I forgot to take photographs. Jelly Bean has been walking all around the house this weekend too, it seems so strange to see him walking at last after him crawling for so long!!!

Sounds like you had a really busy and fun packed day on Saturday! I’ll definitely join in with this in a few weeks – the next couple of weekends are just going to be endless pictures of boxes as we get packed up ready to move!
