Vango Wins ‘Best Family Product’ Award

Being keen campers with children I was happy to hear that Vango had won an award for ‘Best Family Product’. We are big fans of Vango as our first tent (which we still have) is a Vango and most definitely the best tent that we have ever had with so much attention to detail. It has withstood all weathers and taken us on many great family adventures, the last of which was our camping trip to Drayton Manor at the end of the Summer last year.

Vango Starwalker Junior

Vango, who are this year celebrating their Golden Anniversary, has just been awarded BEST family product for their Starwalker Junior sleeping bag, at the Outdoor Industry Awards 2016.

The ideal companion for any child on their camping holiday, the Vango Starwalker Junior is a versatile sleeping bag, which gives children freedom of movement with the option to zip off sections at the legs and shoulders.

Derek Scott, Marketing Director of AMG says

The fun with this sleeping bag come from its creative design, in either a panda or dragon theme. This coupled with its innovative design, allows the user to zip off the bottom, making it great for running around the campsite in their sleeping bag. As we know, all kids love to do this and the Starwalker Junior is great for helping to introduce young people to the wonderful world of camping

Winning the BEST family product for the Starwalker Junior is great recognition for our creativity and further demonstrates our commitment to developing camping gear, which combine fun and practicality for the whole family.”

    • I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for camping season to begin again!! My friends went camping last week and said it was still a bit too chilly, they ended up coming home after two days instead of five. They were braver than me! 🙂
