My eldest has bad eczema on her arms and wrists the best thing we have found is Aveeno cream or Bodyshop hemp body butter. Best thing we found for cradle cap was Breast Milk.

Always make sure you dry baby properly and let their skin get plenty of fresh air.

Right, you asked for it!!!!! I’m climbing on my soap box now.
Like many children,Big Sis suffers from terrible eczema. It took us months of doctors’ visits, prescription creams, and trial and error to realise it was the Sodium Laureth Sulfates that were aggravating her skin.
This harsh ingredient, added to make your product all nice and foamy, actually strips the moisture from your skin, causing irritation and even skin conditions.
Shockingly,if you look on the back of many top name specialist baby products, you’ll find SLS listed as a main ingredient.
As soon as we stopped using products containing SLS (and there were A LOT –including the toothpaste Big Sis was using) her skin immediately showed an improvement. Now,if we accidentally use SLS (one time her Nanny forgot and used a generic shampoo) her eczema flares up literally overnight.
So my tip is to steer well clear of anything that contains SLS and look for products that state they are Sulfate and Paraben free.
Incidentally,Persil non-bio is the ONLY washing powder that doesn’t set off her eczema.
The End.
