The Gallery: Hair

William

When Tara at Sticky Fingers set the theme of “Hair” for this week’s instalment of The Gallery, there was one picture that immediately jumped to my mind and that is Curly above age 3.  I bet you can’t guess how I came up with his nickname for my blog!?!?  He had a mass of Curly blonde hair which during the summer months would become even brighter blonde.  As you can see from the other picture taken a few months ago, the curls have now gone and his blonde hair is getting darker each year.

Before Little Bean came along I used to look at Curly and his gorgeous locks, dreaming of the curly haired little girl that I hoped to have one day but sadly (although she may be pleased) both Little Bean and Beanie Boy seem to have inherited my poker straight hair and left the thicker curly stuff to Daddy and Curly.

Even without the curls, he’s still a cutie and one who I’m sure will wow the ladies with his good looks and oodles of charm when he’s older!

If you want to see some more “hair” raising pictures then why not hop over to The Gallery now.

His Dad used to say he looked like a scarecrow when it got to that length but I loved it!!

Gorgeous! My daughter’s got mad curls so I’m waiting to see if they disappear when she gets older or not. You’ve reassured me how cute they still are even if they do! Lovely pic. x

Its that age old thing isn’t it, you will love her curls but if she does keep them into adulthood she will hate them, guaranteed!! We’re never happy are we – I would have loved for Little Bean to have Daddy’s curls x

What a sweetie, with or without the curls! Have to confess to keeping first curls from my boys in envelopes, they are super soft when they are small aren’t they!

Oh you have to keep their first curls, I did too – so precious!
