Review: Vintage Baby Clothes from This Is Lullaby

ThisIsLullaby

Everything looks cute in miniature doesn’t it?! Dressing our babies is one of the things that new parents look forward to when they become parents for the first time, all those tiny tops and trousers, cute little shoes and hats. So when it comes to dressing them for their Christening we want them to look extra special and Jelly Bean’s Christening outfit was no different.

When Jelly Bean was born I was asked if I would like to review an item of clothing from This Is Lullaby, the ‘other baby’ of Vicky Brown. Vicky began making clothes for her 18 month old daughter whilst on maternity leave and then decided to make a business out of it. She creates one-off pieces of baby clothing and accessories using vintage clothing which she sources from charity shops and then gets creative making all items by hand. This is seriously cute ‘upcycling’!!

Vicky designs items which are perfect for occasionwear or for that special item in the wardrobe. We were sent this really cute baby vest with mock waistcoat and I have to say that Jelly Bean looked gorgeous. He received lots of compliments on his outfit, very traditional and smart.

Vicky’s prices start at just £7 for a bib and a waistcoat onesie retailing at £14. I wish she had been around in 2008 when Little Bean was a baby because she makes beautiful dresses too. These are a few of my favourite items from her Etsy shop . . .

DISCLAIMER: We were sent the waistcoat onesie for the purpose of this review. I was not instructed what to write and all words are images of Jelly Bean are my own. You may not copy these images without my permission.

  1. This baby is looking very cute, just checked the facebook page mentioned above, I must say that the collection is really amazing, I don’t have a baby otherwise would have bought some clothes.
