Review: Fingerprint Tree

FingerprintTree

I’m a sucker for ‘memories’ I like to commemorate special events in time, to give me something to look back on which will trigger the emotion of a day and who shared in that day. On Sunday our family and friends gathered together to celebrate Jelly Bean’s Christening and this time we had a new and very special way to commemorate his special day . . . a Fingerprint Tree.

I first came across the Fingerprint Tree when I was asked if I would like to do a review for the personalised gift website Utterly Personal. Looking through the site I discovered the Fingerprint Tree and thought this would be perfect, I was able to personalise the tree however I wanted to from the wording at the bottom, I chose his name and date of christening. I was also able to choose a black or brown tree, a pink or blue baby bird and the choice of three ink pad colours; blue, pink or green.

Everyone who attended the Christening thought the tree was a great idea, we did find that you needed to press your finger quite hard onto the ink pad to make a good print on the tree but it was so easy to do and could involve children as well as adults. The ink wiped off fingers really easily with a baby wipe. It will be a permanent reminder of his day and a cute piece of wall art for his nursery once we have had it framed.

You could use the Fingerprint Tree for absolutely anything; birthdays, christening, Weddings, house warming or anything else you want to commemorate.
