Panasonic Personal Care Range

We all love a bit of pampering from time to time don’t we, the trouble is we don’t always have time (or money) to go to a spa or salon to be pampered. That doesn’t mean you have to miss out altogether though. Saturday mornings are generally when I manage to grab an hour to myself whilst Daddy keeps the Beans entertained downstairs so that I do take the time to wash and blow-dry my hair nicely, do all my de-fuzzing (epilator) and give my face a deep cleanse/face mask to really get rid of the grime from the week gone by.

Panasonic have been working hard to bring us the tools to help keep ourselves in tip-top condition from the comforts of our own home and I went down to London last week to get up close and personal with them.

hair dryerNanoe Hair Dryer – EH-NA65

Isn’t it pretty! The Nanoe hair dryer is an odd shape at the top (it reminds me of a dolphin) which is thanks to the nozzle which emits nanoe particles to help hair retain it’s moisture and prevent it from drying out, leaving hair smooth and full of shine. Keeping the moisture locked-in not only makes the hair look and feel better but it strengthens it too so it’s a winner all round.

The hair dryer has a long cable and comes complete with three attachments; quick dry nozzle, styling nozzle and a diffuser. It features three heat/speed settings and packs a powerful punch with it’s 2000W motor.

Hair StraightenersHair Straighteners – EH-HS95

Just like the hair dryer the straighteners also feature Nanoe technology. The nanoe particles are generated from air holes at the tip of the glass coated iron plates to nourish the hair particles during styling and prevent damaged caused by the heat.

The hair straighteners feature 5 heat settings; 150c, 170c, 180c, 190c and 200c and is able to reach 200c in just 45 seconds.

facial steamerFacial Ionic Steamer – EH-SA31

Gone are the facial steamers of the 90’s with the big bucket frame you rested your face on. The new facial steamer is more refined, sleek and quite futuristic in appearance. The ultra-fine nano-sized ionic steam penetrates the epidermis and hydrates your skin’s complexion. The new facial steamer releases ionic steam treatment through its ‘Simple 6-Minute Spa’ setting.

The EH-SA31 Facial Ionic Steamer can be used in a variety of ways. Removing makeup and dirt from the pores after a busy day is essential for healthy skin. The steam is perfect for deep cleansing and opening pores to allow for the full removal of makeup, including even the toughest mascara, as well as dirt and oil, to achieve clear, even-toned skin.

In addition, the steamer is an ideal makeup primer before your make-up routine, as the hot steam softens the skin making it ready for flawless and long lasting makeup application.

The Facial Ionic Steamer is 21.7cm in height, offering a compact and stylish design that is an elegant addition to your home beauty kit.

EpilatorWet and Dry Epilator – ES-ED90 and ES-ED50

I first discovered epilation about 15 years ago and haven’t looked back since. I guess it takes a bit of getting used to in the beginning but it definitely makes a big difference and when the hairs grow back they are much finer and less ‘stubbly’ so if you haven’t tried it I would recommend you give it a go.

Panasonic have now launched their 7th generation of epiliators. They can be used with soap for quick and gentle hair removal.

ES-ED90 6-in-1 Wet ‘n’ Dry Epilator is fully waterproofed so it can be used in the bath or shower when the skins pores are naturally open and softer, which means that hair will remove more easily and less painfully.

Features: Epilation head with trimmer cap, sensitive areas cap, facial cap and efficiency cap, shaver attachment and pedicure buffer to remove dry, calloused skin. There is an LED light to illuminate the skin so you can spot any hairs you might have missed. It also comes with a pouch to keep it all together when travelling.

The pivoting head has 48 tweezers for efficient hair removal. The double discs are even able to remove hair as short at 0.5mm.

Electric toothbrushElectric Toothbrush – EW-DL92 and EW-DL82

Dental hygiene is definitely becoming more and more popular these days. When I was a teenager I never really saw the need for an electric toothbrush, I thought it was just for lazy people but then when I had to start paying for dental treatment myself and started to pay more attention to what the Dentist was telling me. When I started using electric toothbrushes myself the Dentist noticeable a huge improvement in my teeth and I noticed a reduction in my bills as I didn’t need a scale and polish every time I went for my checkup.

The new Panasonic brushes are packed with technology to make brushing easier and faster with approx 31,000 brush strokes per minute generating high-speed sonic vibrations to brush on the surface and in between. The sonic vibrations gently clean along the gumline without causing damage. The EW-DL92 has three interchangeable brush heads; the triple edged brush for general cleaning, the point head brush for cleaning between and behind teeth and finally the silicone brush to provide gentle stimulation for gums.
