To mark the occasion the attraction is giving the first 100 people who visit on 5th July the 1996 entry price of £5.95 with a limited edition golden anniversary pop badge, and anyone who was born on 5th July 1996 can visit for FREE. Of course the attraction has not left the fish out of the celebrations, as they will enjoy some delicious slices of birthday cake and there’ll also be photo boards showing remarkable moments in the attractions history.

Amy Langham, General Manager at The National Sea Life Centre Birmingham, said: “It’s incredible to have reached such a huge milestone and it is an honour to be part of such a dedicated, hardworking team. We’re now home to over 2,000 sea creatures from all over the world’s oceans and we continue to go from strength to strength each year.

“We knew we would have to up the ante to celebrate this fantastic accolade and that is exactly what we have done, with the arrival of two brand new attractions. One being the 360 degree ocean tunnel, which is now completely transparent throughout and allows our guests to look into the world’s oceans. The other is Clownfish Kingdom, which features an array of interactive tanks so visitors can get close to some incredible underwater species like Clownfish and Blue Tangs.”
