National Picnic Week – 18th –24th June 2012
So far this week we have been pretty lucky with the weather haven’t we and it’s been perfect for getting out and about with the children. One of our favourite past-times is going out for picnics, it’s the one time that the children all eat reasonably well and I think that’s because of the change in environment, it’s a little less formal, it doesn’t matter if they drop their food everywhere and they get to play afterwards.
Well, if it’s not raining in your neck of the woods then why not get out and about, go for a walk in a park, take a picnic and just chill because this week is National Picnic Week. Of course if it’s raining I don’t suggest sitting on wet ground, get considerably more damp and eating soggy sandwiches but you could always have a carpet picnic like we did a couple of weeks ago.
