I will hold my hands up and say “I just don’t get Minecraft”. Curly has been playing it for ages on the iPad, he loves it and has tried to explain it to me so many times but I just don’t get the fascination with it. He links up with friends to play it and tells anyone who will listen, all about it. Maybe I’m finally starting to show my age and have lost touch with the tweenage generation?
When Curly was presented with the Minecraft Shelter Pack his words were “awesome, thanks!!” so I’m pretty sure he was happy with it. From a parents’ point of view it has been great to see him show some interest in something other than a video game for a while. Yes it relates to a video game but he has loved sitting quietly and building the blocks. He has found it very easy to build and has loved creating his own buildings to protect ‘Steve’ and the wolf from the impending zombie attack!
Curly has already checked out Amazon to see what other packs he can get to add to his Shelter Pack and was beaming when he saw just how many additional packs are available.
In total I would guess that the pack took him a couple of hours to build and it has provided him with lots of fun since as he builds and knocks down his constructions over and over again. Perfect for when his Games Console has been confiscated!
