If Curly could morph himself into the world that is Star Wars I am sure that he would, he has watched every DVD time and time again, he has every piece of Star Wars lego that was ever made, even his Build-A-Bear is dressed as Obi-Wan-Kenobi so I knew before we even pressed play on this DVD that it would be an instant hit.
The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm have joined forces again to bring LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace to Blu-Ray and DVD in a 22 minute standalone special with all the charm, action and humour which is the signature-style of the LEGO Star Wars collaborations. Written by Michael Price, Emmy Award winner (The Simpsons) and produced by Oscar-winning Animal Logic, the production company behind Happy Feet.
The Padawan Menace is a comic adventure following Master Yoda and a group of Jedi Younglings on a routine Jedi Academy field trip. Yoda senses a disturbance in the force and is summoned to help save the Republic where he discovers a Youngling has secretly boarded his ship. C-3PO and R2D2 are left to ‘babysit’ the lively younglings and find they have bitten off more than they can chew. Will Yoda and the Droids be able to protect their young as the Sith prepare to wreak havoc?
Curly unsurprisingly LOVED this DVD and has already worn it out and especially likes the Hunt for R2D2 and Bombad Bounty on the bonus material. Other bonus material includes: Star Wars in Two Minutes (Part 1), Star Wars in Two Minutes (Part 2) and Star Wars Clone Wars in cinema.
