Jelly Bean’s Christening

Today the sun was shining as we popped on our gladrags and made our way to Church to have Jelly Bean Christened in front of family,  friends and Jelly Bean’s new GodParents . . .

It’s not often you get the chance to get dressed up these days is it but I do love a Wedding or a Christening and the excuse to wear a nice dress.  Choosing clothes for children to wear can be a fun experience, I couldn’t decide between traditional Christening wear like some of these from Just Christening or more casual.  In the end, we went for somewhere between the two as I found a cute little waistcoat and baseball boots.

The sun shone brightly all day long for our little man and I’m pleased to say that everyone enjoyed themselves.  It’s a good opportunity to get together with friends and family.

This evening we are looking somewhat like slightly toasted nodding dogs as we both struggle to keep our eyes open and glow from the effects of the sunshine.
