How can it be that this little cutie is 4 years old already?
Beanie Boy is perhaps the most complex of our Beans, he is a sensitive little chap who seems to have grown up overnight. Beanie Boy was born just one day over his due date and just like his big sister before him, and his little brother after him completely stole our hearts. His big brown eyes are mesmerising and his giggle are infectious. He gives amazing hugs and longs to be as old as Little Bean and Curly. No matter how much we tell him to enjoy being a little boy, he tells us almost daily that he is a “big boy now”.
The new school year has seen Beanie Boy start at a new preschool in the hope that he will make friends with some of the children who he will potentially go to school with next September. Despite a good first week, I’m sad to say that this week he has cried each morning and clung to me saying that he wants to stay at home. I’m hoping it’s just teething troubles as he has always loved preschool. I think he is missing his old friends and his ‘ladies’ but I have to keep telling myself that I have made this decision for his own good and I hope that soon he will settle and make new friends.
Today he will be celebrating his birthday with his siblings and cousins as well as old friends and new friends. He is super excited about his party so let’s hope it is everything he wants it to be.
