Cornbury Music Festival confirms The Beach Boys as the first headline act for 2019

Rock legends, The Beach Boys, will bring a Californian vibe to the Cotswolds next summer topping the bill on the final day of The Cornbury Music Festival at Great Tew. The Beach Boys are sure to be a huge crowd puller for England’s most elegant music festival; their unique sound has made them one of the World’s most successful acts, selling more than 100 million records since they formed in the 1960s.

‘There are certain legacy artists that we’ve been after for many years’, says Cornbury organiser Hugh Phillimore ‘finally our number got called by The Beach Boys. We’re completely thrilled to welcome them to Oxfordshire’.

Spreading a ‘Sweet Sunday Kinda Love’, The Beach Boys, featuring Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, headline Cornbury’s main stage on Sunday 7 July rounding off what promises to be a spectacular weekend of entertainment full three-day musical line-up of big-name acts and exciting newcomers.

Early bird tickets

Discounted weekend early bird tickets are now available; but festival-goers will need to be quick to grab a bargain, as they are only on sale until midnight on Sunday 9 December. Day tickets go on sale early in the New Year when the rest of the line-up will be revealed.

Cornbury Festival

Cornbury Music Festival is a lovingly crafted, top-notch open-air party held in the stunningly beautiful Great Tew Park near Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds’ heart. It’s a unique hybrid of the premium music festival and quintessentially English village fete. The Festival is very much a family affair. The Kids’ Zone is right in the middle of the festival, in sight of the main stage so that families can drop in and out whilst seeing all the festival highlights; and, unlike other festivals, all activities are free with something for all ages on the go all the time. Entrance for under-threes is free, and quieter camping options are at the same price as general camping tickets.
