Dreaming of a summer wardrobe . . .

Sitting here in my lounge watching the rain pour down the windows I decided to cheer myself up by looking ahead to sunnier days and making plans for my summer wardrobe. Just a few short weeks ago I was doing the school run in flips flops and summer dresses, this morning I was dressed in wellies and a winter coat and I know which outfit I felt better in!

Being a stay-at-home-Mum doesn’t mean I have to spend my days in tracksuit bottoms and hoodies, although on days like today it’s tempting. I’ve been looking at my wardrobe recently and it is definitely in need of a clearout and so I’ve been checking out New Look to see what they have to offer. In my days before becoming a Mum I used to spend a lot of time (and money) in New Look. Their clothes were always a really good fit for me and they have lots of different styles to choose from.

image I really quite like this black top, its practical enough for bending down to small children, yet its still very feminine and pretty without being boring, and I’ve seen a few people around in these trousers which are very flattering and make a nice change from jeans.

My summer staple wardrobe tends to be maxi-dresses, they are cool enough to stop me from getting overheated and they can be dressed up or down for any occasion.

Of course, being a stay-at-home-Mum the easiest way for me to shop for new clothes is to order online, it makes life much easier than trying to squeeze into a changing cubicle with a buggy and a pre-schooler, I get to try clothes on in the comfort of my own home with my mirrors (which tells the truth!) AND even better than that, I get to use voucher codes to make great savings on my purchases. By using a New Look discount code I can use my savings to splash out on a pair of shoes to finish off my outfit too!

So what will you be wearing this summer?
