Create your #DoughballAdventure at Pizza Express
Last weekend we were invited to enjoy a #DoughballAdventure family meal at Pizza Express, since we were spending the weekend camping at Sandringham this was a welcome invitation. We booked a table at King’s Lynn Pizza Express and were warmly welcomed by the staff on our arrival. Our waiter for the evening, Ethan, was a very pleasant, friendly and professional man who was brilliant with the Beans.
Great Food
Pizza Express in King’s Lynn didn’t disappoint, we’d had a busy day playing at the campsite, exploring Hunstanton and having fun down on the beach so we all had a big appetite. For once, the only people to order Pizza were Lillie and Albie, whilst Simon and Ollie opted for pasta and I chose Risotto which was mouthwatering. Simon surprised me further by NOT choosing his staple Tiramisu and instead ordering the Summer Special Strawberry Tiramisu which he said was the perfect Summer dessert.

Other than the great food, one thing the Beans always look forward to when we eat at Pizza Express is the Piccolo Menu and Activity Pack. Currently they have a great competition running for young diners to win all kinds of amazing adventure prizes from an adventure holiday with Featherdown to tents, scooters, wellies and games.
How to Enter
Piccolo Adventurers are invited to create their very own Doughball and write a story about their #DoughballAdventure. Your story can be set in the past, present or future, or set in outer space but it can only be a maximum 200 words so you have to write creatively. Each week of the Summer holidays a winner will be picked and we are at week 5 already so you need to get your entries in if you want to have a chance of winning!
Top Tips for your Story
- Think of a great name for your Doughball
- Will they be going on their adventure alone or with friends
- Consider where the adventure will take them? Mountains, seas, jungle, space . . .
- Will they face any challenges along the way?
- What will they wear and what equipment will they need to take with them?
What to do next?
Once you have created your story you’ll need to submit it online which might need the help of an adult. Whilst you’re waiting to find out if you have won you could always plan your next trip to Pizza Express for some amazing, scrumptious food . . .
