Celebrating Best Friends this Valentines with #BratzBFF

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, saying ‘I love you’ doesn’t have to be solely reserved for loving couples. What better time of year to tell your #BFF (Best Friend Forever) just how much they mean to you than Valentine’s Day?

#BratzBFF

Last year saw the welcome return of the Bratz girls complete with fresh new styles and cool accessories. Yesterday afternoon, Little Bean and her BFF exchanged gifts to show how much they care. Each girl received a #SelfieSnaps Bratz doll and ironically they looked like mini versions of the girls; one with blonde hair and one with dark hair. Ella gave Little Bean Raya, the Bratz with a quirky personality and Little Bean gave Ella Yasmin, her fashion style is all about the Happy Face (perfect since Ella’s Mum Karin runs a website and group called Embrace Happy) and her favourite emoji, the peace sign #Namaste.

Other members of the #SelfieSnaps crew include Cloe, whose style is influenced by hashtags and happy faces as well as Sasha, who loves oversized emoji’s to make her stand out from the crowd. Each doll comes with an array of fun accessories so that the dolls can stage the perfect Selfie!! Other Bratz ranges include Bratz Remix and Music Festival Vibes.

Little Bean and Ella have been friends since they were 6 weeks old when Karin and I met at a baby music class, we spent most of our baby and toddler days together from then on with the girls attending the same preschool together. Sadly, when it came to school Little Bean didn’t get into the same school as Ella due to geography but Karin and I have done our best to keep the girls (and our respective boys) together as much as possible.

Karin had kept our post-school visit yesterday a secret from Ella and Sam so they were VERY excited when they returned from school to see us sitting on their drive and the excitement was contagious. We walked to the local park with drinks and snacks at the ready so the children could play whilst we had a catch up too.

The joy on their faces just proves that you don’t have to see someone every day to be a good friend. I don’t see someone of my best friends for months at a time but each time we do, the conversation picks up like it was only yesterday and we know that no matter how far away we are, we will always be there for each other.

DISCLAIMER: We were sent both dolls so that LB could gift one to her BFF for the purpose of this post. All words, images, video and opinions are my own and may not be copied without my permission.
