What is Byotrol?
Boots Anti Viral Hand Foam contains Byotrol which sterilises hands without the need for water and it contains no alcohol so it is kind to your hands and will not dry it out or leave a sticky residue. The ingredient Byotrol is different to most hand sanitisers in that it carries on working up to 6 hours after it has been applied to your hands, whereas others are only active at the time they are applied. Think of a light bulb, when it is switched on you have the light but the second it is switched off the light is gone. This is the same for hand sanitisers that do not contain Byotrol.
