A postcard from . . . The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show

On Friday, Simon and I had a day out at the NEC whilst the children were at school. As a family, we love to get away camping and enjoying the great outdoors. We noticed this year that the show’s Camping section seemed far smaller than in previous years, which is a shame. I wish more families would give camping a go. It’s such a relaxed way to holiday and the children always love it. Time seems to go so much slower, and it’s not half as ‘rustic’ as so many people imagine (unless you want it to be).

Obviously, this beautiful retreat from Clear Sky Safari Tents isn’t going to be receiving the 6 of us anytime soon, but a girl can dream about a night away with her Husband whilst the children are being cared for at home. Looks quite romantic, don’t you think? After getting away for our 10th Wedding Anniversary last year, I have decided that Hubby and I need to get away for some ‘couple time’ regularly.
