A weekend of fun with friends . . .

When the sun shines it makes all the difference doesn’t it!  It’s even better when the sun shines and you have great friends to enjoy it with.  This weekend we were joined by one of my oldest friends (although she is younger than me), MumtoC and her family.  We had a lovely relaxing time and enjoyed getting out in the sunshine . . .

Once our friends had gone home it was time for Curly and Little Bean to get their party gear on as they had both been invited to birthday parties for their friends, Curly had a Football Party to attend and Little Bean a fancy dress party.

Have you noticed anything strange about these photographs though?  There are no ‘Mums’ in them!!!  How is that we always seem to be missing from photographs 🙁

What did you do this weekend?

Looks like a really fun weekend, so much sunshine! I am hardly ever in our photos either, not that I’m complaining!

Ha ha I don’t particularly like to see photos of myself but I always look at other people’s pictures of them with their children and wish that I had more pics like that. Since the sad loss of Kerry (Multiple Mummy) last year I look at life with my children and so many of her photos with her and her children and think they will be able to look back and see the happiness in her eyes.

I always end up taking the photos, but since have had a front and back mode on smartphone have managed to also take group shots with everyone gathered round me! BTW – how did you manage to create the lovely montages above, with the rounded edges etc. What programme or app did you use?

I have tried doing a couple of those self-shots with my camera to get me with the children but I always look awful so I delete them. I need to practice a pose!!

I used PicMonkey for the collages, it’s my new favourite toy 🙂

It's always nice to receive comments, go on don't be shy . . .
